and valley vs. mitty haha.
but just for ur info, here are some great reasons to go to valley
1. new campus, which is SECURE. we had a lockdown drill, and all teh doors to the different floors can be locked from one computer in the office. we have cool electronic locks. its sweet.
2. high tech. we've got computer labs, recording studios, science labs with rooms and rooms of all the equip you could think of, modern music equipment for performances, photo studios, dance studios, a little sports clinic where we have actual doctors work with sports injuries. if you get injured at valley d, vc takes care of ita nd provides physical therapy. btw, did i mention we hav eflippin' sweet heated swimming pools?
3. we're on a hill. its safer, and the view's gorgeous, and we have more space for oru school cuz we really take up the hill.
4. its CLEAN. the bathrooms are actually usable (so much nicer than CHALLENGER even). We have a ZAMBONI that cleans the pavement outside and a FULLTIME TOUCH-UP PAINTER for the schooL! Isnt' that crazy? And we have really nice turf soccer fields/footballfields/baseball fields....WE VACUUM THEM. haha. its fun. x) my school's the best.
5. if you skip a day of school, the teacher can send you a video clip from their webcam explaining their lesson, and you can chat with them online and they can write on a "whiteboard" on the chat thing while explaining stuff to you. also, hw is online at [url="http://grovesite.com/vchs"]http://grovesite.com/vchs[/url] and grades are at powerschool. Its really cool. AND DID YOU KNO CHALLENGERS LIK THE ONLY SCHOOL W/ OVERHEAD PROJECTORS? allt eh teachers have those cool techhy projectors that are attached to the ceiling, and all the teachers have those tablet laptops where its touchscreen? its awesome.
6. only school with a professional Conservatory of Music program.
7. Its a really great environment- everyone's really supportive.
8. ACADEMICS ARE HARDCORE. Its teh only school where you can take ap courses as a freshman! (well, if ur elegible)...but unfortunately, challenger doesn't offer courses that gets you ahead, so not really. (we can't take biology...half of the valley junior high students have taken biology in 8th grade, but we've only taken physical science, so you have to start with biology in 9th grade. kinda sucks, cuz u thought challenger kept you ahead, huH? that's where cty can help you a lot.
By the way, Challenger barely prepared me for high school. everyone says Harker is tough, but Valley Christian's hardcore too. I'm taking all honors classes, whcih i'm sure all of you can, but its TOUGH STUFF. High school will NOT be a breeze if you take all honors, but it keeps it challenging and exciting.
Oh, and the spiritual life is great for EVERYONE, not just Christians...I'll explain more later but i'm tired of typing haha. Any questions? Let me know =)

ur very smart jonathan...
well...i think u'll have a higher chance of getting into st. francis even if u are Christian because ur sisters go there....ur very lucky!!!
it's really competitive to get into any of the Catholic hs...
