tauq.com Name Change?
I've been thinking about it lately and I was wondering what you guys would think of a name change?
Why?
tauq.com was originally meant to be a tutorial site and a site for people just starting to learn how to c walk or wanting to learn more. It has now become one of the largest cwalking forums on the net, but what I feel is losing us members is the name.
Because the name is "Pimp My Walk", people tend to think that only beginners/noobs would go to a site like this. If you're already good at cwalking, why would you want to pimp your walk?
Of course, no disrespect to any of the beginners here, you're the main reason why we grew this big. I just think the name we have right now makes it seem as if the site is limited to beginners, when really, it's open to everyone no matter how good or bad they think they are.
Solution:
This is the solution I have come to realize:
* Change tauq.com into a website full of tutorials, guides, etc. for anyone wanting to learn how to c walk and improve on their cwalk
* Move the whole forum, members, posts, etc. to another name like "Name Here".com for example.
* Link to the forum from tauq.com
What do you think?
I just want your opinion on this. Do you agree? Do you disagree? If so, why do you agree/disagree?
I have no idea what the new name is going to be, but I'll probably make a topic for everyone to suggest a name (that's IF we decide to do a name change)
Are there any problems with this?
No, absolutely none.
You will not lose any posts, the forum will stay the same as it is, just a new name.

yeahz i agree.. the name tauq.. it sounds noobish lol.. sorry but yeah it juz does.. to me..
i dont know of a name myself.. but we need something.. that is pro.. but simple at the same time..
yeahz.. we need to make this website into a proper cwalk forum.. atm i agree wiv u.. its juz somewhere people come and learn.. nothing much else.. but yupz..
i agree on the name change..
and turning the forum a bit more.. pro? lolz

I agree with changing the name to something that will make the site look likes its for both newbs/advanced walkers. That way people wouldn't think of it as a "newb" site, but at the same time, I don't see anything wrong with the current name.
