What do you all think about a merge with Walkbox?

Walkbox seems like a nice community with nice people, not the type that are mean to noobs, etc.. Spook is also a good admin and I'm sure the other admins are too.

Just wondering, what you all think?



Disadvantages:

- Basically none that I can think of other than the fact that it may take a bit of time to do the merge and think of a new name.


What I want to know is, what do you all think about this?

Wow, i reckon this idea would be sick as, imagine the mixtapes and tournaments you could make/hold, that'd be off the chain and no offence but the voting system here sorta sucks, cuz from what i've seen, dick riding is a common thing around here, the walkbox voting system is the best, fariest and most funnest way of battling. Also i think that if you merge, they'll be a heap load of crew battles going down.

You got my vote on this idea.

One question: What if we have an account on both? o.o

Would we still be a mod/pimp if we merge?

What if a person has two accts, one is bl/admin/mod on Walkbox and a normal member on PMW? and vice versa, Pimp/mod/admin on PMW and normal member on WB.

and.. can't think of anymore now

and also, how is walkbox's system of voting fair? I never seen one so i dunno :S

Yes, I guess we will keep current mods.

About the PIMP idea, hmm, I'm not sure, but I'm sure the current PIMP's will have a special group for themselves aswell.

If someone has two accounts, their accounts will be merged aswell, meaning that all their posts from both sites will be merged into one account.


Try looking through their battles section and the finished battles.

That is only possible if the account has the same name... just backup the database and restore onto their database on walkbox, backup again, make the site and restore to the new one. However, what license are you going to use for the new boards? Think about this more, I would never merge with a website, I just do not like to share power and you should think about that as well.

I say go for it, it may help this site a lot.

i think it would be a great idea. do we have to move to their site? can we like make a new site and just combine the both of them? then that means people will have to make accounts, do all their posts again, and etc. well if you are going to merge your going to have to make up an new name that members here and on walkbox will agree on. if u need help just holler.
